Jean-Francois Podevin Designer/Illustrator

Los Angeles based imagemaker, Jean-Francois Podevin is a native of Paris. He has designed and created illustrations for the covers of Time, BusinessWeek, Newsweek, and Omni magazines for the past 15 years. His work has also been featured on the covers of American Showcase, The Image Bank Catalog. His illustrations are used by major corporations the world over, including the 1994 Coca Cola worldwide advertising campaign. He provided producer Douglas Trumbull, with concept design, story boards and production design for the computer generated holographic "Dream Sequence" for the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas.

Larry Scher, Producer

Mr. Scher began his career in industrial television in 1969, working for the City of Los Angeles. In 1978, after founding Timestream Video, he produced and directed broadcast and industrial television programs for AT&T, The Coca Cola Company, Sun Microsystems, McDonnel Douglas, Lucent / Bell Labs, Orion Pictures, Warner Brothers, and PBS. He has taught at Rio Hondo Community College since 1970, and currently is director of the television production program. In 1987 he began working with digital imaging and has collaborated with Mr. Podevin and Ms. Reed on a number of projects.

Working together, Mr. Podevin and Mr. Scher, have created digital images for The Image Bank, IBM, AT&T, PC Magazine and Lucent. They have also designed animation for LeStudio Canal+.
